had saddam
#1 cooperated with inspections there would have been any sanctions....
#2 seeing as it was him who was uncooperative he should have used some of the iraqi's vast oil researves to pay for their own food and infastructure....

so quit trying to always twist it where its the UN's fault.....
there are rules for the world....
you dont follow them you are punished...
its not like the UN wanted to kill iraqi's....
they just wanted to be sure there were no WMD's
seeing as saddam would not allow those inspections....
it is he who killed the iraqi people
he knew the consequences when he kicked the inspectors out.....
so start giving credit where credit is due....
